Overview

Welcome to ASA's Private Pilot Ground School. This course combines the expertise and experience of ASA's industry-leading training materials for a comprehensive aviation ground school program.

Aviation Ground School will prepare you for your FAA Knowledge Exam. However, this is not merely rote memorization of the test questions and answers; the ground school promotes true understanding and application of the knowledge needed for the test and at the same time makes you a better, safer, and more knowledgeable pilot.

Follow the course in sequential order. You will:

1. Review the section objective.
2. Read the comprehensive lesson from The Complete Private Pilot by Bob Gardner to gain a foundation of the required aeronautical knowledge.
3. Watch the dynamic multi-media presentation from ASA's Private Pilot Virtual Test Prep.
4. Read the subject synopsis from the Private Pilot Test Prep.
5. Review the information using the largest sample of representative FAA test questions, supported with explanations and answers from ASA's Prepware program.

The course will conclude with 2 sample tests; upon completion you will receive your test authorization (endorsement) to take the FAA Knowledge as well as a graduation certificate.
